The year 2017 will mark the centenary celebrations of the entry in war of the United States during the first conflict mondial.A this occasion, the City of Boulogne-sur-Mer wished to register fully in these commemorations. The City of Boulogne-sur-Mer was indeed, by its geographical position, both port and allied medical center, one of the strategic places of conflit.A such, it is in Boulogne that General Pershing landed June 13 1917 to the head of the American Expeditionary Force, symbolized by this gesture into the war of the United States of America with the Allies. Listed as part of this event - to Boulogne américaine- wanted time and supported by the City of Boulogne-sur-Mer, the 1917 exhibition, currently Pershing will be one of the major events.To commemorate this event, but also the link between Boulogne in the United States, the Municipal Archives of Boulogne-sur-Mer present in count's room of the Museum, from June 13 to November 11, 2017, a bilingual exhibition of documents, photographs, films, objects ... from boulonnaises collections, but also the French national Archives, UK and US. For all audiences, this exhibition will be the publication of a catalog of 120 pages, but also to adult mediation actions, school children.
