THE MUSIC AND SEAFOOD FESTIVAL 20 th and 21stMAY (THE GAINEE )
Place : The port, quai Gambetta Boulogne-sur-Mer.
Over 20 000 people are expected to come and join in the fun of this traditional seaside town event.
For only 5€ (and all proceeds going to charitable causes), taste the Boulogne freshly caught fish stew, with a glass of white wine and French bread.
Volunteers will be preparing the stew in a gigantic 10 meter cauldron using over a ton of 5 different white fish, 2 tons of vegetables, 4 kilos of fresh cream, and 400 liters of whitewine.
There will be numerous groups,bars and varied entertainment taking place throughout the 2 days in a delightful carnival style atmosphere

15.00 : The fresh fish is delivered
15.00-17.00 : The fish is filleted

9.00 : the fish stew is starts cooking
12.00 onwards : the stew is ready to be served
